loc_new, loc_ref, loc_unref - Create a new libloc context

Description

Every operation in libloc requires a context to be set up first. This is done by calling loc_new(3).

Every time another part of your code is holding a reference to the context, you will need to call loc_ref() to increase the reference counter. If you no longer need the context, you will need to call loc_unref().

Return Value

loc_new() returns zero on success. Otherwise a negative error number (see errno(3)) is returned, as it is by all functions of the library that return an integer to tell whether they were successful. errno itself is not being set.
